My story of music and media

Music and media have always been a massive part of my life especially in lockdown I really got the opportunity to just put everything to a halt and focus on what I really wanted to do. With Media I love the idea of creating a perception of who you are and creating the person that you actually want to be. At first it started off with the doing YouTube and reaction videos and then slowly I reduced the amount of content I was producing and started to think about how I could push myself a lot more and try and challenge myself and I have adored music and that was the biggest thing that got me through lockdown and so I wanted to try and put more time and effort into why music was so impactful and so beautiful as music is genuinely a piece of art. So I thought that I might as well challenge myself to start writing music and start analysing and researching different structures of genres whether that was blues or R&B or ballads.

As time has gone on I became a lot more confident with figuring out who I wanted to be and more sound and vision I wanted as an artist and a storyteller. One of the hardest things about being an artist and a songwriter is making sure that you don't allow your inspiration of artist to become something that you copy. Reasons so many artist that I'm inspired by our successful is because they found their sound and they found the stories and things that made them unique and different. For example Adele with somebody that I adore especially when it gets to the lyrical side of songs and the storytelling as she lets her words lead the music instead of the instruments and she make sure that the instruments are very stripped back or her old music was very stripped back. Whereas Ms. Lauryn Hill has been someone who has had a massive impact especially on the black community but she really challenged the difficulties in the things that was going on in society and that's why I had such a massive impact till this day.
